Data deletion
If you used Facebook Login, Meta may forward a signed data-deletion request to us. You can also start the process from Facebook’s settings.
Request deletion through Facebook
- Open your Facebook settings for apps and websites. Apps and websites
- Remove Unfiltered with Berry if it is still listed, or open Removed apps and websites.
- Find this app in the list of removed apps and choose the option to send a data deletion request (Send Request).
When you do, Meta POSTs a signed request to our server. We remove the Facebook user id we stored and return a confirmation code with a link to check status.
What we delete by default
We clear the Facebook linkage on your account (the Facebook user id we use with Facebook Login). We do not automatically delete your whole account if you also use email sign-in or if you still need access to the site.
